Announcements

Coaches and Parents,

The parking situation at Brethren Christian in the evenings has become unacceptable.   Cars are stopping and parking in the main drive lane leading to the field access gates.  Getting in and out has become difficult, more so with kids walking through this area to cars that are not in designated parking spaces.

This drive lane is the emergency access to the field.  Were a child to get seriously hurt on the field there is no way with the current situation that an emergency vehicle would have quick access on to the field.  This is a serious concern.

Brethren Christian is the only field that we have access to that has lights and can provide later practices.  If we lose access to this field our program will be greatly impacted.  The school has made it clear that they are concerned with the evening parking.

If you child practices at this field, please show good stewardship towards the school, and keep the safety of our children in mind, and park in the parking spaces to the left of the drive lane as you enter the parking area.

The school has indicated they will begin calling the police to ticket cars if the parking does not improve.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Becoming A referee Becoming a Coach
We can't have games without referees. More importantly, it's rewarding and working with kids is great fun! Refs help keep every game fun, fair and safe.

Unique age-appropriate coach training is one of AYSO's specialties. If you plan to be at your child's soccer practices and games, you'll also have time to be your child's coach!

AYSO is a volunteer-run organization. Coaches, referees and administrators are volunteers. Over 220,000 parents, neighbors, relatives and friends lend their time and talents so that each child gets a terrific AYSO experience.
AYSO’s volunteer foundation ensures that it’s all about what’s good for kids. It also makes AYSO very affordable. AYSO operates in a business manner, but volunteers ensure its “profits” are happy, healthy kids playing a sport they can enjoy for life.We currently have  5 volunteer board positions Vacant. Please look and see if there is one you can help with.

                                 We Need Your HELP!

The parking at Brethren Christian is a major problem. Everybody is driving and parking along the building and near the field entrances causing a significant hazard to our children and the students at the school. I am asking that all Coaches, Parents, etc. stop driving in this area and no longer park there. This request is effective immediately.

We are investigating installing barriers but would rather not have to do this.
